Write what belongs in a view and it becomes one. The sentence is read into rules you can see and edit, and the suggestion carries the number of messages that actually match it, so you know before you save it. Any view filters and groups like a table.

Connector blocks

A link stops being a link.

Mail from Stripe, GitHub, Linear, PagerDuty, Vercel and seventeen other services carries its item onto a card. GitHub, Linear and PagerDuty cards read the item’s state from the tool itself — when you open the thread, never on sync, because a fetch on sync would tell the sender you looked.

An action that changes something in a connected tool — acknowledge an incident, resolve an issue, mark a task done — runs only when the message came from the connector’s own domain, with a DKIM signature aligned to it, and the link is that notification’s own item. A forwarded or forged one loses those and keeps only what opens or copies the link the mail already contained. Every card says where its facts came from:

On your machine

Crate Mail syncs your mail to your Mac and keeps it there. We run no mail server and hold no copy of your inbox; your Google tokens stay in the macOS keychain. You sign in to a Crate account for your licence. Cory is off until you switch it on; once you do, the mail it works on goes to Anthropic’s API — including on its own, as new mail arrives and as you open threads — and is not used to train anything.

Follow up if no reply: Hold a thread and it comes back if nobody answers. Held threads survive a sync.
Snooze, reminders, scheduled send, undo send: The usual controls, on the usual keys.
Fifty-plus keybindings, one source of truth: Every shortcut comes from one map, so the sheet and the app cannot disagree. One ⌘K surface reaches all of it.
HTML mail, rendered: Messages render with their inline styling intact; scripts, frames, forms, handlers and whole <style> blocks are stripped first, so a mail that styles itself from a stylesheet will not look exactly as sent. Remote images load, so a tracking pixel in a message you open reaches its sender; we do not proxy them yet.
An action log: Every action a card took is recorded with what it did.
Multiple accounts, light and dark: Several Gmail accounts in one window, in either theme.
Search, in two places at once: Your Mac answers from the mail it has cached, matching on what it has already synced. The same query also goes to Gmail’s own search, every time, so the words you search for leave the machine.
Cory is off until you turn it on: With it off, nothing goes to a model. Switch it on and it sorts new mail into your views as it arrives and prepares replies when you open a thread, both on its own; drafting is on request.
