How long it thinks
Four settings, quick to careful. Pick a slower one when the answer matters more than the wait. There is nothing else to set, and it lives inside Cory AI+.
The work happens on your machine.
Your files stay where they are
Cory opens the files where they already are. Nothing is uploaded first, so there is no second copy of your work on somebody else’s computer and nothing to delete later, because it was never made.
Meetings, recorded and written up locally
Recording and transcription both happen on your Mac. The audio is never uploaded. Asking for a summary is a separate thing, and that does go out.
Notes are just files
Ordinary files, in a folder you can find. Open them in anything. Back them up the way you back up everything else, and take them with you the day you stop paying us.
What leaves the Mac.
- Requests that need Cory AI+
- Your request goes out with enough recent conversation to make sense of it, and the answer comes back. Nothing is kept. No session is resumed later.
- Other people in the thread
- That includes messages other people sent, never addressed to Cory. It is the price of an assistant that knows what “book that one” means.
- Nothing is used to train anything
- Not your messages, not your files, not your meetings. The AI usage policy names what that covers.
